Went to visit a friend in the big city of Toronto!
Took an obligatory photo of the CN tower…
Waited in some lines… (ICK!)
Got to see the lair of the great design crew at Bruce Mau Design.
Bought some pretty royal blue high-tops.
Decided to be a weird-o and paint only two of my nails. I’ve been doing this a lot lately…
Finally the Fashion East business cards have been finished and printed. Next… website design!
This is the website I completed as a christmas/ birthday present for my roommate, childhood buddy and creative cohort Christina. Currently I’m working on integrating Christina’s tumblr blog and website with a custom template.
Recently I had the opportunity to work with the artist Ruth Marsh to create a website to showcase her work. I really wanted to learn to develop websites and doing a trade was a good way to motivate me into learning.
I certainly had a lot of help from my more web-savvy friends (especially when I decided to delve into custom Wordpress layouts). I felt Wordpress was the perfect tool to create a website with an interface simple and intuitive enough that anyone could update the content themselves. And, despite many occurrences of swearing at my computer deep into the night, I pulled it off.
I didn’t realize how satisfying it could be to develop for the web, and now I am constantly looking to broden my web-development horizons!
And here is the amazing graphite and ink drawing I now have in my living room!
This week I was featured on the Fashion East Halifax Fashion blog!

After being sick for days I finally did something a little more productive. Or more productive than watching TV shows, anyway.

It’s true I haven’t posted in a while, but this looks promising!
